Each island in beautiful Lee County, Florida holds something special. In this Rachel Pierce original painting, the Island Icons of Fort Myers Beach (the Pier), Matlacha (Shrimping Boat), and Sanibel Island (Lighthouse) all come together as one. Since the devastation to the area from Hurricane Ian, it has been amazing to watch these island communities come together to rebuild. From deep hues of blues and purple, through the rainbow to bright pinks, orange, and yellow, Rachel has captured the hope felt by herself and all the islanders for a future that is better than any of us could have ever dreamed.
